This amazing road trip is designed for owners who are looking for something incredibly special! The tour begins in with us meeting in Folkestone before taking the Eurotunnel to France to begin our epic adventure, that will takes owners on an incredible journey of a lifetime.
This unique overland trip will take you through Norway’s breathtaking landscapes, letting you savor its pristine beauty. Ride on endless roads through its uninhabited wilderness and amazing Fjords. There is no other tour that will let you better experience Norway at first hand.
This tour is about challenging and experiencing mother nature with all its facets while driving the roads that will lead you to where Europe ends and into the land that time forgot..
Driving a Land Rover to Norway is more than just a road trip—it’s a full-blown adventure into some of the most breathtaking terrain Europe has to offer. Here’s what makes the experience so unforgettable: Norway is famed for its hairpin mountain passes, fjord-side drives, and remote gravel trails. It’s been called one of the best places in the world for road trips.
This trip is a real overlanding adventure giving us the opportunity to use our Land Rovers for the job they where designed for. Getting you out into nature to experience life. Although we will scatter a few hotel stops into the mix, the majority of our stops will be camping as a group once in Norway, some evenings Wild Camping others at dedicated campsites. Wild camping as is actually encouraged here. Thanks to Norway’s “Right to Roam” laws, you can pitch your tent almost anywhere. Lakeside spots, forest clearings, and mountain plateaus become your home for the evening. Obviously we will be making sure when packing away in the morning that we leave no trace of our overnight stops.
This mixed in with the occasional hotel stop makes this trip very popular with Land Rover owners. Please continue reading and we hope this trip ticks some boxes for you.
Day 1. 04/10/2026 Calais-Antwerp 130 Miles
our epic overlanding trip will start on the 4th October 2026 when we meet around 8am at Folkestone Kent. We will board the Eurotunnel @ 10.30 for our 35 minute
crossing to Calais France. We will regroup in Calais before our road trip really starts, we will be are heading up past Dunkirk then north towards Bruges then skirt round Ghent before Stopping in Antwerp for the night @ Lindner Hotel. In the heart of Antwerp.
Day 2. 05/10/2026 Antwerp-Tecklenberg 195 Miles
After breakfast at the hotel we will aim to depart by around 9am and start to
continue to head north towards Germany following the A21 for Essen then on to
our next stop over destination of Tecklenburg where we will be camping @ Campingplatz am Knoblauccheck once set up we can settle in for the evening. And get the chance for a chat and a couple of beers or whatever is your choice, and the opportunity to get to know everyone
Day 3. 06/10/2026 Tecklenberg-Padborg 250 Miles.
Again after our breakfast we will start to wind the miles on as we head up into Denmark. Passing Brem and skirting the edge of Hamburg we then drive north to our second nights camping @ Krusa Camping Og Hytter.
Day 4. 07/10/2026 Padborg-Kristiansand 250 Miles Inc Ferry
After a good nights rest and your breakfast we will aim to depart by 9am and head further North up through Denmark to Hirtshals to catch our 3hr ferry crossing over to Kristiansand Norway. Once landing in Norway we head west and here our inner Bear Grills will come into play as we will be wild camping as a group Kristiansand.
Day 5. 08/10/2026 Kristiansand-Stavanger 150 Miles.
Having spent our first night in Norway we no start to drive the epic roads we all came to
see and get emersed in the stunning scenery that Norway is famous for its roads hugging the coastline of the north sea.. Nearby is the village of Gamle this beautiful and timeless neighborhood of Gamle alone makes Stavanger worth visiting! This beautiful old town consists of approximately 250 small white wooden houses built in the 18th and 19th centuries.We will be camping @ Mosvangen Camping.
Day 6. 09/10/2026 Stavanger-Bergen 140 Miles.
Same format as previous day we will be looking to depart at around 9am after having our breakfast. will be following the Western coastline working our way up through the breath taking Ryfykle region passing stunning Fjords. Before heading into the Hardangerfjorg district. Then we will be following the Europavel 19 taking in the famous Atlantic road that takes you to the oceans edge, crossing small islands and inlets over 8 bridges eventually seeing us arrive at tonight’s accommodation @City Box Hotel Bergen. Whilst in Bergen the famous Viking village or visit Mount Ulriken by gondola.
Day 7. 10/10/2026 Bergen- Rest Day.
Today is a well deserved rest day after some long days it will come as a nice chance to just have some down time. Gateway to the Fjords: Bergen is the perfect launchpad for exploring Norway’s iconic fjords, including Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord. From museums and galleries to music festivals and cozy cafés.
The city’s compact layout makes it easy to explore on foot, with picturesque neighborhoods like Nordnes and Sandviken offering delightful wooden architecture.
Day 8. 11/10/2026 Bergen-Tyinkryset 190 Miles.
Today we will as previous days enjoy a breakfast together before setting off at 9am. Departing Bergen and now head across country towards Norways Nærøyfjord World Heritage Park. Renowned for its natural beauty and water falls and Fjords. We will then continue to head east towards our campsite @ Randsverk Camping.
Day 9. 12/10/2026 Tyinkryset-Vevang 240 Miles.
A great days driving today real Land Rover roads with awsome changing terrains with some sections that spans a stunning cross-section of the country’s natural beauty, weaving through mountains, fjords, and coastal landscapes. Some of route known for the Tyin–Årdal mountain pass, offering dramatic views and hairpin turns.
Features the historic “Tusenmeterstigen” (1000-meter ladder), open subject to local weather conditions. Our evening stop will be @Vang Camping.
Day 10. 13/10/2026 Vevang-Karvag-Lillehammer 250 Miles.
An epic day today as we drive the world famous Atlantic road a must drive if in Norway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSKWsq5UZJ8 mile after mile of breath taking roads the hops from island to island over the sea the sound of crashing waves almost drowning out your tire noise. Then we start heading south down the 64 towards Lillehammer. with more and more amazing views before before camping for the night @ Sveastranda Camping.
Day 11. 14/10/2026 Lillehammer-Gothenburg 290 Miles.
Departing Lillehammer by 9am after our breakfast we will leave behind one of Norway’s past Olympic towns ,heading down through Oslo ideal for a lunch stop before we carry on to our over night stop in Gothenburg. We will travel along some great roads with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos, then a nice Hotel after a few days camping @ Hotel Generator Coppenhagen.
Day 12. 15/10/2026 Gothenburg-Copenhagen 250 Miles.
Departing Gothenburg by 9am after our breakfast we will head for Jutland driving south via Storebaelt bridge & Liittle Belt Bridge, then continue through Flensburg into Germany. Down to Neumunster then carrying on to Lubeck arriving at our evenings accommodation @ Park Inn by Radisson.
Day 13. 16/10/2026 Copenhagen-Hamburg 200 Miles.
As we leave Copenhagen behind us we have a fairly easy days driving drive west across Denmark and south through Germany. Taking in the scenic countryside, rolling hills, and historic towns.with ythe roads winding us back into Germany for our nights camping @ ElbeCamp.
Day 14. 17/10/2026 Hamburg-Eindhaven 280 Miles.
Todays route passes through parts of Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, offering views of countryside, forests, and small towns.
Popular stopovers include Osnabrück, Münster, and Duisburg, each with charming old towns and good food options Its worth stopping at one of them. Tonight will be our last night together as a group so we will be stopping in a hotel in the town centre to give us the oppertunity to have dinner together and chat about the epic trip we have just completed. And a couple of beers our hotel is the Eindhaven Hotel.
Day 15. 18/10/2026 Eindhaven-Calais 180 Miles
You know the drill now, after eating breakfast we will aim depart by 9am. Today sees us heading back to Calais. This is when we realise the adventure is truly coming to an end. Driving back past Antwerp and Gent before following the coast road through Dunkirk and onto Calais to catch our return train that departs at 16.30 and will get us back in the UK half an hour later
This trip is limited to a maximum of 20 vehicles, each day we will travel in small groups of 3 to 4 vehicles as trying to travel along the route as a large group of 20 just doesn’t work. We will obviously all regroup in the evenings at the campsites or hotels to discuss our individual high points of the day. Hopefully over a couple of drinks and some food
This epic 15 day trip of a lifetime is sure to be one you will remember for many years to come. Priced at just £2389 per vehicle including the driver and one passenger. Additional passengers are welcome to join at an additional cost please email for details. The price includes all hotel accommodation with your own including breakfast. Rooms may be doubles or twins depending on availability. All campsite pitch fees, Eurotunnel crossing both ways plus the ferry crossing to Norway with a reserved seat on deck area. The crossing is 3hrs.No other meals or drinks are included apart from breakfasts at hotels where mentioned. .Where possible there is parking available at the hotels . This cant be reserved in advance so there may be occasions we might have to use street parking.
